time flies, almost 2 weeks had past.

and i'm leaving jakarta going home!

lotsa wonderful memory here :) i must say i really enjoy staying alone. too many good points

and of course bad points. i wanna come back here soon because i think i will miss the place and people here. my jakarta colleagues are really nice people! and i want to improve my bahasa!

Many places i have yet to explore and go.

of course home is where it is still the best.

i miss everything about singapore. but trust me, jakarta is not a bad place at all! shall blog again.

hello!

yesterday was a slow day. partly is also because i have not much to do. haha. plus internet is slow here. got to get use to here cause it much more slower pace here compare to singapore.

new colleagues are nice friendly people but not much topic to talk about. prolly cause we are still new! haha. i'm sure they will get noisier as time goes by.

had 'singapore yong tau hu' for dinner yesterday. i would say like a 30% like singapore only? cause there is no seaweed chicken, hotdog, tau pok and most importantly no quail egg!!! sad to the max but it was not too bad. they had this big stick that looks like fish cake, but they put singapore famous otah-otah. Out of curiosity, i took one. Surprisely, it's really fish cake la! not otah.. i think maybe i see wrongly or they put wrongly. cause there's really not orange looking thing around. hahaha.. no grocery shopping this time when back wash up and fell asleep quickly. it was a long boring tiring day.

woke up the usual time, 7.30am jkt. its 8.30am sgt. so about the same timing i wake up in singapore. washed up and had some time so i curled my hair a little :) had some ramen for lunch just somewhere opp our office. hahahaa. they actually have a lot decent food around our office, just that it's a little pricey compare to other places. work was as usual, people who wants to contact me can try talking to me in msn. i'll be there everyday cause am using that to communicate with my colleagues in singapore. right now, i'm actually taking a few mins break to do my laundry. YES I DO MY OWN LAUNDRY. hahahahaa.

i know i know... i've grown up to be independent kid. okay thats for now. need to wash my DKNY le. byeee :)

oh ya.. my cantik (pretty) hand is rotting because of the washing powder... ahhHHhhHhhhHh

Hello everyone. i'm at the jakarta office now. i wish blogger can kind of share location.

i'm aiming to type something here everyday. *cross finger. heh.

Touched down yesterday around afternoon. One of our new colleague from here was very sweet. She came to pick us and bring us around. Really nice of her. After all the grocery shopping, we had some indonesian food. They have too many types of indonesian food, so i can't exactly explain which kind. and back to our office [home] wash up and rest. Oh ya. i forgot to mention, we finally got a big pail to store the water. cause the shower head or the water here is seriously weak. i can take half an hour to bath. SERIOUSLY no joke. So our life became happier after the pail came. mwhahaha. washed up and slept. Didn't really sleep well but thats normal for foreign bed la. :)

woke up around 7am JKT time. Its one hour later here. wash up and out for breakfast. Its our usual favourite bak mie kerinting. meaning meat curly noodle. It tastes somehow like maggie mee but much more heavier taste. Then back to office to welcome our new colleagues. Everybody were nervous but i guess it will get better as time goes :) everything takes time ya.

work continues throughout the day with the bad internet access but we still did it!

Met adhi, my boss's brother in law at this mall call Emporium Pluit [ep]. He's also another nice funny guy that helped us a lot. Shopped at our fav. store - Carrefour for grocery again. ahaha.. hypermarket is my <3. had chinese food for dinner and back i am in office. i shall stop here to wash up. good night lovelies.

lets see..

went to watch black swan with my colleagues yesterday. Natalie Portman is going to be my first fav actress. Seriously! If you have watch no string attached, you will love her man. She's so natural! and if you have watch black swan, you will be amazed by her. you have or not intending to watch, black swan is basically a horror-thrill kind of movie. Not a lot of scary scene but there are a few that is *ahhhh cover your eye with fingers scene. Two of my colleagues couldn't sleep that night though. i kind of like the movie and i think its a 4 popcorns out of 5 . i actually cried in the end because she manage to do the black swan dance beautiful and perfectly but totally went a bit mad/psycho in her mind of thoughts. she's so poor thing...aww.

this weekend is going to be a fun fulfilling. kind of excited cause its been very long since we had a company trip together to kukup! :) But after this week.... it's going to be the start of my nightmare? Because maitri, my senior designer is going back to her hometown for good sake. i'm going to take over her roles. I hope i can take up this job well and i really need to learn to be firm. There may be times that i may show a stern face.. be harsh on my words. but after work i'll still be that yvonne you know. So given this opportunity, i hope i can really cope well. i probably need lots of creative juice in the near time too... haha!

This is probably going to be a big change in this point of my life. So dear friends, do give me moral support ya! There may be chances that i need to fly oversea to foresee some stuff. i don't know. Things are not firm up yet. Oh well, all i hope is for the best!

and.. i so want a holiday getaway! So this year, i target to go at least 2 places? Japan and Bangkok. If can taiwan or hongkong too! So no more excessive shopping or getting of bags. ( saw some really cute ones from kate spade.. awww)

suddenly i thought of COE prices now. omg. its mad. totally mad. how can i achieve my mini cooper by the age of 25 at the rate the coe is rising!!!! bahh.

Hello all :) how's everyone doing?

me? i'm still the same! meeting my dearly friends once a while, outing with my colleagues once in a while. i'm really enjoying all this! i thank God for my lovely friends and my lovely colleagues too! and also enjoying the time being home early, to have some MYtime. be it watch tv, tidy up my room and enjoying nice dinner by mum.

okay enough of self update.

so. what will you do if you were to choose between family and friend in such situation?

this goes.. signing up a policy from my friend but my brother ask me to withdrawl and sign from him. the paper work are almost done but insurance all have 14 days of free look. i told my brother that i will sign some other plan next time. why not next time? but.. blood is thicker then water right.

hais. i have 13 more days to consider.

today is the 7th day since xh went into army.

:) i will say i truely enjoy every single minute of being alone. i guess sometimes being alone give you more opportunity to catch things around you. more of minetime ba.

but xh will be back on friday! YAY! so its kinda happy too! mix rojak feeling. hahaha

just need to strike a balance between.

tried strawberry yoghurt mask the other day at home. ahaaha. Its mainly for oily skin. homemade mask can be really good :) using natural materials.

wash brush day

I was thinking, since i'm so free this sunday afternoon i should do some wash up for my make up brushes! and i've decided to blog this too. Sooo let's start.

Why wash brush?

Because they can trap lots of bacteria and dirt. By washing them regularly, it keeps your face clean and healthy! Regular cleaning of the brushes keeps their lifespan longer too :) -----> save money. mwhaha

Okay this is how i usually do it. what you need: dirty brushes, brush shampoo (mine is from Elf, somebody told me that you can use the cleanser for make up too. But i think having a brush shampoo may just be safer. hahaa anyway one bottle can last you really long), a clean glass and clean towel.

Drop 2-3 drops(as little as that) of the brush shampoo in to the glass and half fill the glass with water. Dip the bristles in and out a few times.

Then use your finger tips to press and rub gently against the bristles. you may want to dip the brush a few times and repeat this process.

After which you have done so for all your brushes. Wash the glass and fill it with clean water. Dip the brushes in to wash off the shampoo and dirts then squeeze off the excess water. Please do not over exert cause you do not want to make all the bristles drop. whahaa

Place all your brushes on the clean towel, cover it and use your palm to press on. This is to let the towel further absorb the water.

Reshape the brushes to how it was. You don't want to brush to go out of shape when it drys up. So this is important.****

Then place them nicely to let it dry! that's all! very fast. Less then 10 mins you be done :)

melacca melaka trip!

hello everybody! after missing for a month. I'm bacccckkk. hahaa. *sounds like i'm talking to myself cause prolly not much reads this blog? But this will not stop my determination to blog about my melacca trip with my beloved colleagues! heh heh. okay. lets start. It was just a random and last minute decision with my colleagues. Before that i was watching qiu qiu's budget barbie featuring at melacca and it looks really fun! So i thought since last week was a long weekend, why not lets do a one day tour there! Everybody agrees and tadas! here we go..

Mkk and karen came and pick me and bf at about 7.15am then pick up betty. We had Shun Fa Bak Ku Teh at Johore before setting off to Melacca. BKT for breakfast is BEST.

Notice their Trishaw is decorated with many many many flowerss. and of course some new trendy songs! Melacca also have mercs cab but they are those vintage kind with really big car plate. heh heh.

First we went to Jonker walk. Jonker walk is a must go place at Melacca and they have night market during the weekends too! From yummy food to slippers to clothes to bag to blah blah! You can find them at relatively cheap prices!

omg. the chendol..... really i'm missing it now!! slurrpsss.

Chicken rice ball. gu ming si yi. Its the rice mould to a ball shape. heh heh. But personally i prefer the rice because in order to make it stay in a ball shape. the rice has got to be more sticky. so i don't like that texture.

After chicken rice, we went to this makota parade. Its a shopping mall with department stores and many other shops. The clothes there are majority cheap too! haha.. girls can really go crazy in Melacca k. Opposite of the area has got another stretch of shopping place. I saw brands like esprit, mango adidas! but because we don't have enough time so we decided to skip it. We went back to Jonker Walk because review says night market there is not to be miss! Melacca is a good place for short holiday! Trust me! you won't regret going there :)

On that day, I prolly spend about S$100 in total for my shopping and food! But it's definitely worth it! :)

october already!

woah. its october already. 2 more months and we got to say goodbye 2010!!

workload is so-so nowadays. kind of free actually. hee hee. can youtube once in a while leh. oops!

anyway, wanna share a few clips that i really like.

no.1 budget barbie from click network tv. haha. i think its really entertaining and i'm sometimes quite amazed by her. totally like watching the video because i think it brings joy. hehe. i like certain stuff she buys too! maybe i should once again check out the places she went! i wanna be budget yet getting all the good stuff at reasonable prices too!

no.2 the make up tutorial on youtube! hahaahaha. like the ricebunny and 2 other asian looking girls. ahha. its kind of fun looking at how ppl make up. make up really do wondersssss. with lots of ssss. of course i also hope to pick up some skills on that area. :)

and lastly, this hairdo tutorial by this person call binosusume on youtube. i think she is awesome! she teaches some of the simplest yet pretty hairdo that you can tie to work. though she's japanese but she add english subtitles too! how great isn't it?

asked racheal to help me order cosmetic from US! totally excited and can't wait for them to arrive! racheal is like totally my love hate you know! hee hee. tempt me to spend spend spend. but looking at the brighter side. i actually save some money. cause getting them in singapore is just a little too ex. and the good thing is certain items comes under promotion in a set! meaning u can actually get more things at the same price i buy from singapore! yayness. *evil laugh.
