oh-so-fast. march is here. first quarter of the year is gonna end really soon! But theres something to look forward in april and may! muhahah. My colleague is going to sell me this langawi trip he won at our company dnd at a very very very low price. i thought why not? airticket accomodation all in. why not!!! i can go there relax do nothing be a 3 day beach girl. hee hee. and of course phuket trip in may! i really look forward to it. its first time i'm going so far out with my friends. :)

oh man. i'm gonna be tan soon again i think.. ohh mann. the effort for the past few months to stay whiter. burst! but to exchange for a the fun. i think its okay!! hahaha.

oh ya.. i remember what i'm suppose to do on thursday. am gonna meet joanne!!! :) okay random. anyway. i haven being posting any design work. let' see. okay my lappy is really empty except for a on-going freelance job. maybe i should save some jpeg from work place. heh heh. in a way i can start to build my portfolio again ya?

happy 22nd birthday my dear... ELISA!

before i talk abt elisa's birthday.. i'm gonna continue abt cny. haha. kinda boring right.

maybe i shall skip that? hee hee. k la. i admit i'm just being lazy.

hmmm. i have this sudden blank on what to type. just came back meeting my lovess tbt. :) hee all effort is worth don't you agree? the usual last minute yet good work. this time we even tried recording video. its like a appetizer video for her and finally we reveal the meeting location.

all only specially for nobody but YOU!

i saw tears of touched tears of joy. and i feel even we didn't have enough sleep but you know you are being appreciated. that's enough. plus i enjoyed the process too! haha. though i do until 腰酸背痛可是一切都是值得的。i took some photos using my phone. i will upload the next time i blog.

oh ya. i just change my cleanser toner and face cream. here's my take.

its day 1. start with cleanser. i preferred those that have foam. i like the after washing feel. my skin turns soft and i don't get those tight pulling on my skin too. so its kinda quite good. i don't mind the smell. but it doesn't give me a refreshing feeling after wash. maybe cause just first day using. hahaa.

toner. its kind of no smell. feels quite good. i pour it on the cotton and wipe on my face. i compare the dirt with yesterday's. turns out that the cleanser is really doing its job. good.

face cream. nice smell. i thought it was a little oily but after applying for a while prolly my skin absorb the cream or what. it turns out to be better. good good

tml morning i shall try and see how again! i still miss my old cleanser though... ahahaha.

Happy CNY!

so fast. the long holiday is over............

I think as we grew older, cny seems less fun. haha. still it was a pleasant one.

i went to my grandma house in malaysia. my cousins all grow up le. drive car working all sorts.

we use to play like mad but now we feel so shy to talk to each other. or rather maybe theres no common topic ba. i tried talking more to those closer ones. i'm glad we can keep in touch by using facebook! on the last night i asked my cousin drive me to nearby by mac so i can use the wireless. ahaha. cause from young we are use to calling each other by the last name. then i finally get to know his full name and christian name. haah!

last year i saw many new members in the family. i thought this year i should bring a good camera back and take down all these scenes. but i haven got a decent camera. maybe next year! i seriously hope. the folks are getting older but thank God they are still healthy and strong :)

okay. shall stop here and i'll continue more about this cny period tml!

my eyesight is getting poorer

today is such a busy day. during the first half of the day. i thought i can finish up asap and go home at 6. who knows things changed after lunch. in fact me and jiawan was like rushing mad.

i thought new year season shouldn't be much work. totally opposite way.

haa!

anyway. i rushed the last print job before i run off. i hope nothing goes wrong! i'm trying to download it and see if there's any problem. so i thought of coming to do some updates here :)

i'm thinking after new year, i must meet my friends more often! people like aunty lao, xiyun and huiminday. Of course i can't miss joanne koh's name right. haahas. we don't need to do anything costly or entertaining. just the company of each other will do as great.

alrightly. the file is ready. byee!

iSplurge

this post to tell myself that i have spend way too much this month. it's almost madness.

it also means i have no more reasons to get clothes for the next at least 3 months. i ought to tell myself to save up. save up save up.

before ms joanne koh say my post is too boring. i'm gonna post up the elements that made up isplurge. hahahah.

a dress/long top from hur.

my new year dress from fox.
good buy from F21. 23 bucks nia.
some basic tops cause my old ones are getting really old
splurge of the month. smashbox primer and concealer. so far this primer is really doing a good job! it is easy to apply and more over it really makes my bb cream last longer. it also helps to reduce wrinkle and pore according to the review. though it hurts my heart. but i will say you pay for its quality.

oh ya. i did my nails. i tried something i never did or think before. pink nails! quite sweet though. hahaha

Plus some new bras and undies which i got for present last year for my birthday. so new year new clothes new bra new panties! hahaaha

heart acheee!!!! with all plus together. i spend my entire month's pocket money. :/

so for the rest of the month i shall watch my spending and eat simple meals!

that's all for today.

good night :)

some designs blah blah

i think i should make this blog more active by posting stuff that i did before.. my design work. and behave more like a designer that is proud of showing off her own work! tee hee

Sean's present [ its a calender ]

of course not to miss out my own bday invitation i did last year for my 21st!

a blog header banner i did for my friend.

Another day working till late... oh wells.
there goes my friday night. but smth looking forward now.
waiting for my POPeye dinner.. hungry!!!

wanted to blog this a few days ago. two unsightful scene in two days.
first. i was on dearx2's bike. traffic junction stop. theres this car beside us. the min i turn over i saw him digging nose. i turn back laughing teasing dearx2 and ask him to look. the next moment we turn back. his finger is in his mouth. urgh.

i was out for lunch with my colleagues at chinatown one of the market place coffee shop. the one with famous yong tau foo. while i was queueing. this uncle sitting beside was eating a plate of i think cha shao rice. 1st look. busying chewing his rice. 2nd look. he took out smth from the rice. something black. 3rd look. the uncle tossing the black thing and realise ITS A BABY COCKROACH. damn. and he spit out the rice in his mouth. ewwww. double urgh.

how unsightful...

lovelove

when work gets bored. you need something to distract yourself. in that case. i had some m&m minis. hee. finish a tube of this is as easy as ABC. muhahaha. deardear. you need to stock up this le. :):):) see my two little cute friends behind?? my little meh meh and xiao xiang. damn cute. i know! :D

yesterday i went to CGH sport medical centre for my appointment. i think the doctor is funny. the way he speaks. its funny. too bad i can't see his face. cause we're all wearing the mask. still got to scan my IC before i can enter the hospital can. i was expecting to go through some detail scanning. but to my surprise, he says i probably hurt one of the muscle on my hip area after this physical examination. which is twist twist here. press press there. hahahaa. i felt funny cause sometimes he will press onto some funny bones.

then after which. he gave me a paper with some hip stretching. he say i got to do this every day. and i will have to go back for physio therapy. i think it gonna take some time for my leg to heal ba...

*** one big discovery. rum & raisin goes well with brownie :) its really good. don't believe? try that at ice cream chef!

yuuummmyyyy :) aunty lao lets go there for ice cream soon!

weekend:)

had a nice and simple weekend spent with my dearx2. hee.

i just like it. even though we're just staying home but with each others' company. no matter what also valuable :) on sat i went to collect my x ray result. its normal but the pain is there. so they refer me to CGH. the appointment is tml. i really want to get well again. i want to jog, run the reservoir again.

today i was exceptionally home early. reached home at ard 7.30pm. this is the earliest timing i travel home by public. hahaha. cause as usual of the many normal days. we three are the only people in office. no sales no boss. so we thought even we went off earlier for a few minutes. nobody will know ya? muhahaha.

we [designers] had a meeting with one of our boss today.

its not at our boring little meeting room but at borders bistro. i think its quite cool.

cause he say we should get out of office once in a while. which i really agree.

shall not elaborate too much on that. at least after today we learn more abt the company now.

like said. company will not improve if we don't improve.

its time to step back and take a look at what i/we am doing now..

i want to be a GOOD designer.

that is what i have always want ever since i choose this course.

加油!加油!加油!!

just a few more days. I MUST PULL IT THROUGH!!

vonday jia you ah!!

it's the working life

oh man. its monday already.
its gonna be a new start and i'll prolly be facing new challenges.
but prolly before i realise it might be another week past already.
thats how fast work is shredding my life away.

BUT. i kind of enjoy the feeling of being able to finish all the jobs i list in my to do list
every morning.
i kind of enjoy the feeling of being busy busy putting all my concentrations on my work.
because i know the outcome will be nice!
i think this is call 'workaholic disease'. hahahaha. maybe not so serious? just the minor kind?

oh wells. enough of work.

friday night out with my friends. ahhaha. really enjoying but got to control. no more late night!
saturday was the long await facial session. cause i feel pampered and their shoulder massage is good. once in a while of relaxation is what i really need!! i wish bf can give me shoulder massage that is as good! whahahah. i shall dream that. night should be some safra gathering. but everybody is busy with their stuff so me and bf went to a thai restaurant at kovan. and its really really nice. i think i NEED to go back there soon for more food. :):) then bf bring me rounding. chui chui feng. burn the petrol. whaha. once in a while of chui chui feng is really nice. but can cause serious butt ache. tee hee.
then came sunday which is as usual church day. met aunty lao after church to shop around. nothing much to get. SIAN.

okay i need to sleep le. need to store energy. good night!

yummy :)

we took 1 week to find this candy to put it in this candy machine. :)

whahaha.

somehow i think my Renoir is cool lahs. the machro functions works!

time for update

today i had a meeting with my colleagues and boss.

and we learnt a valuable lesson about different between EQ and IQ.

he said frankly to us. people who only work with IQ will not going anywhere far. Only those who has got high EQ climb the highest. simple to say, its knowing human behavior and acting according to the situation.

This really makes me ponder and go into deep thoughts. At the same time making me realise more about the reality of the world. its definitely time for us to grow and climb higher from where we are now. he said transition period are always difficult. But once we are through, we are one step higher. i really look forward to the day coming soon. Its back to the reality of the world. For instance, everybody has their own goal. like mine, i want a mini cooper. How can i ever achieve it if i'm still in my present situation. It's almost impossible.

The only way to achieve is to go beyond what i am doing now. other then designing i can also try to do some coordination directly with client securing the account. which goes back to using EQ.

imagine if a client comes to you and say he want this design to be this way. you know of a better way and straight away pulls down his idea. how will he feel? He is being rejected instantly.

But if you turn it another way and say you think this idea is not bad. it could be workable just that we can improvise on certain parts. This is very different. It means that the clients idea is being acknowledge and accepted. Of course the client will feel good. This is human behavior. compare to the previous one which do you think the client will prefer to work with.

I'm not trying to say is like being a fake person or what. But is the way you phrase your words.

I guess its really an important lesson about working with different people.

Honda Civic Commercial

I SUPER LOVE THIS.

the great creativity behind it.
the whole idea.

i just love it. and amazed by it.

OH GOD.

Touch My Body (Tuts My Barreh) / Karaoke Fail (English subtitles)

THIS IS HILARIOUSLY FUNNY.
i almost laugh until 'hairr kuu'

she's 103

my grandma pass away on monday. everything happen too quickly.
i guess its just her time is up and she's 103 you know?

we sent her off yesterday afternoon. i guess she should be living in the big house we got for her.

i have very nice cousins though they are a lot older then me. i have very fun loving nephews and nieces. i hope even the lost of grandma, we will still be able to reunion occasionally.

i took some photos of the funeral. its really tradition stuff that most of us do not understand or know about. cause we're hakka, we got nuns that are also hakka to do a ritual for her. the ritual is really interesting i would say. but sadly i can't understand at all.

these photos are taken on the last night where we had a very long hour ritual.

i guess a lot ppl never witness a burial ceremony. my grandma's wish is to have a burial ceremony.

i took some photos too. but i think not very nice to post. okay enough of blogging. my shoulder aches.

tomb sweeping

sat was a totally good day :)

met up with  xiao wen elisa yinghui jocelyn for a ktv & dinner session. i think it was great. the old friends talking about some new and old stuff plus many laughter.

met jiawan and dalton after that. went to a ktv pub. Thanks to dalton. hahaha. my first time driving in expressway. really thrilling scary sweating but greeaaat. slept at 2 3plus.

woke up at 5.30am to go tomb sweeping. super duper tired but its a must to do it. so i don't mind it. when we reach there it was still very dark. the entire process is just very fast that i was home at 9 plus and found myself fast asleep at 10am. haha. all the way to lunch i wake up and met bf after that. we went bugis shopping ! :)

got to rest now.. good night!
