1 year 3 mth

today is a special yet normal tuesday. yup yup. time flies. and i didn't feel we have been together for so long. but i'm happy we have come this far:) super love the hello kitty pola. tee hee. thanks aunty lao for lending me her cam. :D

racheal and ben left! but somehow i still feel their presence around. aha. prolly because theres such thing call internet and skype. we can webcam each other update each other despite the time different. i really look forward visiting them. but before that. i wanna go taiwan! i wanna go changi airport because i'm leaving the country and not just only for popeye or work! hee hee hee.

so gotta save and spend less!! if not going US is such a far way to go still.. hahaha.

work. work is getting fun i will say. i just got a interior job. its tough for me cause i dun have any 3D background. nevermind. i shall try my best! at least i have people i can ask for help. i have good books for reference. :D

once again down with some fever and sorethroat. yesterday was really unbearable. force myself to clear work before heading to doctor. i really hope nothing goes wrong to the work i've done yesterday. hahas.

after having so much sleeps and the medicine. i'm feeling better today :) but mc is till today lah. so i shall take 1 more day rests so that i can really recover on sat. :):):)

meanwhile work to do list for today is to:

1. confirm number of ppl coming so that i can confirm cater

What a busy Monday.

Am actually lying on my bed using my handphone to blog. Cause don't seem to fall asleep soon. Haha. So i decided to blog a little. I think this post is gonna look chunky. Cause i using handphone ah. Don't know how to give paragraph. Today was so quick that time slipped through my fingers. Finally manage to meet angeline. But really sorry to let her and new friend to wait for so long. Sighs. All because of work work work! After that went over to her place to visit her dog. So pretty so furry. You will just wanna hug her tight. Best thing is she don't bite. Not fierce at all. wanted to blog this a few days ago. two unsightful scene in two days.
first. i was on dearx2's bike. traffic junction stop. theres this car beside us. the min i turn over i saw him digging nose. i turn back laughing teasing dearx2 and ask him to look. the next moment we turn back. his finger is in his mouth. urgh.

i was out for lunch with my colleagues at chinatown one of the market place coffee shop. the one with famous yong tau foo. while i was queueing. this uncle sitting beside was eating a plate of i think cha shao rice. 1st look. busying chewing his rice. 2nd look. he took out smth from the rice. something black. 3rd look. the uncle tossing the black thing and realise ITS A BABY COCKROACH. damn. and he spit out the rice in his mouth. ewwww. double urgh.

yesterday i went to CGH sport medical centre for my appointment. i think the doctor is funny. the way he speaks. its funny. too bad i can't see his face. cause we're all wearing the mask. still got to scan my IC before i can enter the hospital can. i was expecting to go through some detail scanning. but to my surprise, he says i probably hurt one of the muscle on my hip area after this physical examination. which is twist twist here. press press there. hahahaa. i felt funny cause sometimes he will press onto some funny bones.

then after which. he gave me a paper with some hip stretching. he say i got to do this every day. and i will have to go back for physio therapy. i think it gonna take some time for my leg to heal ba...

*** one big discovery. rum & raisin goes well with brownie :) its really good. don't believe? try that at ice cream chef!

had a nice and simple weekend spent with my dearx2. hee.

i just like it. even though we're just staying home but with each others' company. no matter what also valuable :) on sat i went to collect my x ray result. its normal but the pain is there. so they refer me to CGH. the appointment is tml. i really want to get well again. i want to jog, run the reservoir again.

after that i met dearx2. went to suntec carrefour for a walk. i love to shop supermarket. then we saw some loaf of bread. and this extra big size bun that looks like.. 6 pac? hahha!

it's the working life

oh man. its monday already.
its gonna be a new start and i'll prolly be facing new challenges.
but prolly before i realise it might be another week past already.
thats how fast work is shredding my life away.

BUT. i kind of enjoy the feeling of being able to finish all the jobs i list in my to do list
every morning.
i kind of enjoy the feeling of being busy busy putting all my concentrations on my work.
because i know the outcome will be nice!
i think this is call 'workaholic disease'. hahahaha. maybe not so serious? just the minor kind?

oh wells. enough of work.

friday night out with my friends. ahhaha. really enjoying but got to control. no more late night!
saturday was the long await facial session. cause i feel pampered and their shoulder massage is good. once in a while of relaxation is what i really need!! i wish bf can give me shoulder massage that is as good! whahahah. i shall dream that. night should be some safra gathering. but everybody is busy with their stuff so me and bf went to a thai restaurant at kovan. and its really really nice. i think i NEED to go back there soon for more food. :):) then bf bring me rounding. chui chui feng. burn the petrol. whaha. once in a while of chui chui feng is really nice. but can cause serious butt ache. tee hee.
then came sunday which is as usual church day. met aunty lao after church to shop around. nothing much to get. SIAN.

time for update

today i had a meeting with my colleagues and boss. 

and we learnt a valuable lesson about different between EQ and IQ.

he said frankly to us. people who only work with IQ will not going anywhere far. Only those who has got high EQ climb the highest. simple to say, its knowing human behavior and acting according to the situation.

This really makes me ponder and go into deep thoughts. At the same time making me realise more about the reality of the world. its definitely time for us to grow and climb higher from where we are now. he said transition period are always difficult. But once we are through, we are one step higher. i really look forward to the day coming soon. Its back to the reality of the world. For instance, everybody has their own goal. like mine, i want a mini cooper. How can i ever achieve it if i'm still in my present situation. It's almost impossible.

The only way to achieve is to go beyond what i am doing now. other then designing i can also try to do some coordination directly with client securing the account. which goes back to using EQ. 

imagine if a client comes to you and say he want this design to be this way. you know of a better way and straight away pulls down his idea. how will he feel? He is being rejected instantly.

But if you turn it another way and say you think this idea is not bad. it could be workable just that we can improvise on certain parts. This is very different. It means that the clients idea is being acknowledge and accepted. Of course the client will feel good. This is human behavior. compare to the previous one which do you think the client will prefer to work with.

I'm not trying to say is like being a fake person or what. But is the way you phrase your words.

I guess its really an important lesson about working with different people.

she's 103

my grandma pass away on monday. everything happen too quickly.
i guess its just her time is up and she's 103 you know?

we sent her off yesterday afternoon. i guess she should be living in the big house we got for her.

i have very nice cousins though they are a lot older then me. i have very fun loving nephews and nieces. i hope even the lost of grandma, we will still be able to reunion occasionally.

i took some photos of the funeral. its really tradition stuff that most of us do not understand or know about. cause we're hakka, we got nuns that are also hakka to do a ritual for her. the ritual is really interesting i would say. but sadly i can't understand at all. 

these photos are taken on the last night where we had a very long hour ritual.

i guess a lot ppl never witness a burial ceremony. my grandma's wish is to have a burial ceremony. 

i took some photos too. but i think not very nice to post. okay enough of blogging. my shoulder aches. 

tomb sweeping

sat was a totally good day :) 

met up with  xiao wen elisa yinghui jocelyn for a ktv & dinner session. i think it was great. the old friends talking about some new and old stuff plus many laughter. 

met jiawan and dalton after that. went to a ktv pub. Thanks to dalton. hahaha. my first time driving in expressway. really thrilling scary sweating but greeaaat. slept at 2 3plus.

woke up at 5.30am to go tomb sweeping. super duper tired but its a must to do it. so i don't mind it. when we reach there it was still very dark. the entire process is just very fast that i was home at 9 plus and found myself fast asleep at 10am. haha. all the way to lunch i wake up and met bf after that. we went bugis shopping ! :)

it's back to the bbbbusy days again. everyday everyday everyday. i have endless things to do. weekend is like a blink and its here. just like now. its gonna be friday and then sat!

was thinking about what aunty young told me a few days ago. she say she feel so tied up that she don't have time for herself. i think i'm almost experiencing that. 

i realise having a friend that does design is quite good ya. i have more ppl asking me to help them to do up some designing recently. 

i think next time i should charge some design fee already.

btw. the foto is taken in kpe tunnel. it was raining so like many bikers there. we decided to stop and wait for the rain to stop. so we sat at the side of the tunnel. the cars are really upclose in a amazingly fast speed. like zooom! past you.

work was really busy for the pass 1 week for me. but i'm glad nothing much for me went wrong. but still got to have more improvement. i need super damn a lot ideas. especially for doing exhibition. i need super empower fastt mind & hand especially when doing exhibition.

i'm finally better now. and no more block nose! no more white patches on my throat. just a little little bit swelling. finally i have my nose back. breathing thru it. how nice! whahahaha

i'm still unwell. sorry but i can't stop complaining... when will i recover?

at least today i woke up i feel better. :) yesterday was v day. i think it was great. though i spent it at home resting. but i got bf to company me. hee. he came over to my place and just that i felt so much better. 

but my throat is still super swollen red and big. i mean the the ball you know? is so big that it is almost covering my entire throat. haha. is a bit kua zhang but it is serious to that extend. so friends out that. please drink more water before you become a victim like me.. :(:(

next i want my nose to be clear asap. it has been block since *$&@*@#*days. maybe because of that it slows down my recovering process of my throat cause i have to use my mouth to breath and those germ bacteria just flow in non stop. hahaa. 

i hope. tml i will be in a better mode to go work. i don't wanna go work half way i feel so ill that i have to come home again. 

and you know what. TP IS THIS COMING FRIDAY!!!!

back to work wasn't great

i think this is so far the worst week i had ever in my life.

i haven tried been sick for so long. wednesday i went back to work. but i was still feeling weak. i couldn't eat my medicine as i was bloated. finally one by one i finish it. during lunch time. i decided that i should get something into my empty stomach. i got myself this very veyr nice ABC soup. BUT i have no appetite. i try eating a little bit. i think my colleagues are all surprise. because this is not the usual vonday. the usual vonday is eat and eat non stop. now. this vonday is wanna eat but no appetite. i'm such a poor thing :( 

after that when we left. i can't help but vomited all out. even my medicine cause i can taste that bitter flu pill taste. i went home and rest after that.

till evening i finally got better. and i was thinking YES. my appetite is back. i'm recovering.

WRONG! after last night. i felt ill again. this morning. i can't stand my throat anymore. that pain didn't go off after those medication and seems to get worst. so i took my mirror and look at my O-M-G so the swollen throat. to my horror. there is even some white patches on it. 

called bf and ask him to bring me to doc again. 

doc says its some infection but haven seen it become so serious before. i took a jap near my butt. this is also my first time taking a jap in a clinic. hopefully the antibiotic will kill all the bacteria then i can get well. and only then i can go have all the good food... my chicken wings.. sushi......... duck drumstick. 

rahrhahrahrha.

i'm such a poor thing.... i finally realise staying healthy is the best thing ever.

MC-medication leave

and so. i was awarded with 2 days MC. the 2 days leave i was dying to have.

before i drag myself to the clinic, i was still telling me bro. i'll call him if i cannot make it on the way. ahaha.

luckily there is no patient waiting. so i spend like less then 15 mins there and get myself home. stuff some biscuit in my mouth and followed by those medicines. back to bed and zzz.

remember i mention about the rashes? 

they are evil. they torture me the whole night so much so that i can't sleep. or perhaps very short sleep. but i remember i was awake most of the time. and its so itchy that i rather stay put on bed trying to minimise my movement and wait. wait till the sun rise and tell my parents. it was my worst night so far in 2009. i can't scratch cause the rashes spreads at a incredible fast speed.

rahhh. then my on off fever. just make me feel even more weaker to get myself out of bed. prolly also i didn't had much food. so i was been strengthless. 

2nd day of mc is the same thing. mostly on bed or watching tv in this very very nua position on my living room chair. hahaha. discovery channel is the best. the show just never runs out and they all all very intersting. except i finally went out in the evening to get some real food with bf. 

blah blah blah. tml's back to work. so i got to sleep now.

oh ya. one more thing worth mentioning is... my first set of cosmetic brush i ordered online came today!! HOOORAYYYYY. :)

those small bites became big patches. and are actually feng mo.

i don't know what is it in english but is something like rashes. you develop it when you body temperature are too high. 

shall not post the photo of it. cause its really scary..

like since thursday?

the fever has been on off. now i regret. i should gone to the doctor earlier.

a few days of panadol extra. i'm so afraid my liver can't take it. haas.

rahhhhh. But the effect is really temporary lahs.

thanks to the fever which causes my headache and sore throat and flu. or rather the other way.

i have to stay home. there goes my beautiful sunday. :(:(:(

and this make me realise something very useful.

most of the clinics are close on sunday. how great...

and adding to my grief. 

my bestfriend mozzie bite me. this is one part of my leg only. another side also have. of course to my other leg..

i'm backk!
went to my grandma place which is in Malaysia on sunday and came back on monday.
i can see dramastic changes to the Malaysia custom. But i wish they can have more considerations on segregating the area. you will know why if you have been there.

anyway. no much changes to the programmes at grandma place. i specially bought some nail polish to kill my time there. one thing i realised was i really have a lot nieces and nephews
now. All my older generation cousins are almost married and with kids. i lost count and already fail to recognise whose belongs to whose. hahaha.

every year they will also get the 'pao chu' and light it. Think it symbolise auspicious or something. i guess it should be a rare scene for most of my friends to see it real and up close. so i took some photos using my phone :)



though it look small. but this thing is really loud and dangerous. and it only took around 5 secs to finish the whole row.
Thats my gong gong. I think he use to be a butcher. strong eh
and my brother trying to help my gong gong.

its 2009..

was at bf's place lasst night to watch countdown show. haha. kind of nothing much to watch though. but i think the firework was great.:)

work has been the same. was working on the company portfolio previously. finally finish yesterday. will take some picture and post up. haha. cause i'm proud of it man. hahah. 

the last few days of 2008 was great for me. nothing much major happen but at least i got to meet up with secondary school friends for a ktv session, i met sharon and try aston and she introduce me to a place for 26 at east coast. The ambient is really nice there. and they have got this drink call faithfully yours. one day i will go there and try it. just incase whats so specially a bit the drink that it is made up of baileys and oreo. hahhaa. i think i will like it a alot!

i finally change my motorola army phone to something else better. totally love the phone. i took some pictures but seems to have error to send it to my lappy. oh wells.

first day of 2009. not too bad. i had driving lesson. i will say my performance was so-so. Can't wait to get my license because i'm beginning to hate the instructor. he is pissing me off. 

i had a nice lunch cook by my mum. i feel great because the whole family is home :)

soon i will go stop by tampines to exchange my 3g sim card and off to safra for some swimming. my stamina totally suck. i need it back. soo... please don't proastinate anymore vonday...

vonday was down with fever on over the long weekend. how evil.

started on sunday morning when i felt shortness of breathe when i was in church. I think God wants to punish me. cause i always miss church. i hope not though. haas. 

yep. wanna to meet bird and ken for a reservoir. but decided not to join them since i already can't catch my breathe. when over to silly's house he gave me a panadol and i rested for the rest of the day. i had a early night too cause it was just feelin to feverish to continue watch bleach. 

haha. oh yes. i'm like addicted to watching bleach. ahaha. anime just rocks.

mummy and dad is singing at home again. so i'm gonna escape!

THIS IS WHAT I HAD FOR LUNCH TODAY.

This is lunch for 5 of us. The table is so full that we have no space to put our hand. i must say that their serving is really generous. They even give free big serving of ah char top with some fake abalone. Free serving of salty veggies. AND free serving of soup.  
Look at this. Can you see chunks of meat and potatoes? Thats how generous they are. We had 2 big bowls of this initially. The rest decided to play the 'or ah bei ah song' game because they want more of the soup. guess what. I'm the lucky one la. the odds is 4 against 1 can. This is the 3rd bowl of soup. I must really say this is really nice potato soup. My mummy always cook this and i can just throw my rice and eat with the soup. 

TADA// We did manage to finish it. But we were really really full the max max max. The rest still can finish their rice. 
and look at my plate. hahahaha. 1/4 portion of rice. and 1/2 portion of the whatever vegs ko ko and the fats etc etc.

seriously too much for lunch. This should be the serving for 10 people i think. haas. anyway, they have got good service located at katong shopping mall.

There's actually this 'Mr. Tan disease' that me and fellow designer colleagues contracted.

Cause our another half all have the surname Tan. hahha. its just coincidence....

and whenever i feel like blogging, i kind of feel stuck when i start typing. what i only have in mind is i hope tml 7am comes quickly:) Because of the Mr. Tan disease i can't wait to see him!

okay. i'm at the airport now. just met a client to settle some stuff. bought my lappy along. rahh. need to call the printer and get some informations. honestly i hate calling people as in those like ask for informations. but i guess i have to learn! :) just hope that i won't get over nervous or stress. hahaha. i really don't wanna screw up this.

and why am i blogging now? hahahaa. look at the time. its 1.10pm lunch time. meeting my silly for popeye lunchy before heading back to office. hee. waiting for him now so decided to do some updates. 

i didn't go mambo last night.! whahaha. decided to give it a miss and spent the time with my silly. :):) so we went to botak jones at bedok for dinner last night. guess what. i order swanky franky. the read the description in the first line saying sausage with bacon and cheese and i stop there and decided to order that. in the end the order came weirdly. looks like some steak and i can't taste what meat was it. until after a while the man serve us another place of food. then i realise i had the wrong order. and damn i still thought it was my own fault for not reading the description properly. i thought it was a prank in the description. hahaha. silly.

i feel the longest time of awkardness and lost my appetite to carry on eating. spoil mood.

This is the 4th week i spent my saturday morning with my fellow designer colleagues. hehe.

weather was very good. and to think that i was almost late.

let me explain the consequence of being late. we set our meeting time at 9am. whoever that is late have to treat everybody for lunch. imagine total of 5 of us. hahahahaha

of course in the end i ran. so was i was in time to make it. :)

after so long. i finally fell sick and had my ever first MC in visual studio. haha.

i'm glad that i'm sick. i shot replenish all the sleep that i have missed. 

but flu is irritating.. i hate flus. but strangely, they always come in a bundle. haha. first. itchy throat. second. sore throat. third. worsen sore throat. forth. constance sneezing+flu.finally. fever.

oh wells oh wells. but i think i'm still in blisssss.. :)

last saturday, joanne invited us to her house for a steamboat session :)

hee. i love steamboat. the next steamboat session will be at my place k. let me find an opportunity. then we can MJ all the way!!!  haha. anyway about this picture.
